Adult Tours

Visit the homestead farm the Herrgott's settled when arriving from Alsace, France in the early 1800's. Adult tours are available throughout the year. We have 2 main themes:

1) Apple tours which emphasize a nostagic look at the history of cider making on the farm as well as in the area. Our annual Applefest is an excellent way to view the history of cider in the area. For more information about Applefest, visit our Festivals

page. The adult tours take about 1-1/2 hours. Each adult will have an opportunity to make an apple flower, which they eat, plus much, much more . A visit to the unique country store on the premises is always a fun adventure. The cost of the tour is $2.00 per adult.

2) Honey bee tours are a fun yet informative look at what happens within the walls of the hive, and within the world of beekeeping.Honeyfest is one of our annualFestivals that provides a wonderful way of exploring the world of the honey bee. The adult tours take about 1-1/2 hours. There are observation hives so that everyone can actually see bees in action safely. See the queen, drones, and workers in their community living, plus much, much more.
